Proudly made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght steel building products have shaped the nation. From quintessential corrugated roofing to large commercial & industrial projects, Lysaght has been at the forefront of the Australian building industry throughout its proud heritage.

Now as we reflect on the past, we have an eye to the future as we seek to enable our customers & communities to build on.

Our Journey

Whilst we are celebrating 100 years of manufacturing in Australia, the Lysaght journey started over 150 years ago when our founder, John Lysaght, saw potential in corrugated iron sheeting, and started exporting it to Australia under the trademark ‘ORB’.

The original innovation in clip-fixed roofing when released in the 1960’s, KLIP-LOK® remains the superior choice for commercial & industrial projects some 50 years on.
Today KLIP-LOK® is manufactured in three variants – KLIP-LOK 700 HI-STRENGTH®, KLIP-LOK CLASSIC® 700 and KLIP-LOK® 406 – with varying availability around Australia.

Changing the way formwork was constructed in Australia on launch in the 1960’s, BONDEK® continues to be a highly-regarded product over 50 years later.
